Selection Process

Eligibility for Workshops:

Age group of the applicants: 18 to 29 years (who are interested in being a part of social changemaking)

Youth from all educational streams and work domain can apply for NIRMAN. As the workshops are of short duration and during the vacations, students and working professionals can continue their studies/work while being a part of NIRMAN.

The Written Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. So, the best time to apply is NOW!

Presently, the 16th Batch of NIRMAN is ongoing. You can participate in any one of the following workshops to join this batch.

A: 01st to 06th November, 2025, B: 14th to 20th December, 2025, C: 03rd to 08th February, 2026, D: 22nd to 27th March, 2026

Dates for the 17th Batch of NIRMAN are as below:

A: 24th to 29th April, 2026, B: 08th to 13th May, 2026, C: 13th to 18th June, 2026, D: 04th to 09th July, 2026

E: 11th to 16th August, 2026, F: 25th to 30th September, 2026, G: 15th to 20th October, 2026, H: 12th to 18th December, 2026

I: 06th to 11th February, 2027, J: 13th to 18th March, 2027

Dates for the NIRMAN 16.2 Workshop: 25th December 2026 to 01st January 2027

Dates for the NIRMAN 15.3 Workshop: 15th January 2027 to 20th January 2027

Workshop Location:

NIRMAN workshops will be conducted at the campus Shodhgram of SEARCH Gadchiroli.

Overall Process Flow:



NIRMAN Workshops are conducted roughly once every month to help the participants attend the workshops as per their calendar. For each batch of NIRMAN (consisting of multiple sections), after their first training workshop is over, select candidates are chosen for subsequent advanced workshops. Normally the duration of the workshops is about 7 days.
